Stephanie Schultz
One of the biggest challenges people face in life is creating an independent retirement.
I became passionate about helping people face this challenge as I observed my parents nearing retirement realizing that they had not saved enough and as a result would work well beyond their desired retirement age. I realized that not only were they not prepared, I myself had not developed the mindset and savings habits needed to retire comfortably. I became determined to change that for myself and my children and as I did I discovered I wanted to help others make these generational changes as well.
My passion for helping people started while pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. I spent six years in that field when I realized that I could only help people to the level that they wanted to help themselves. My career shifted to education and career advisement for adult learners as I simultaneously pursued my Master’s Degree in Business Administration. When I was presented with an opportunity to combine my interest and love for education with helping people by pursuing a career in financial services, I felt like I had found what I was meant to do. I began providing retirement education and planning 8 years ago working with public service employees, their friends and family.
Regardless of whether you work in public service, for a large corporation, are a small business owner or are simply someone like me who wants to shift generational patterns of wealth, my passion is to help you achieve your wealth building and retirement goals by partnering with you to create a strategy that fits YOUR needs. Making saving and investing a top priority is an important starting point and just as important is having a knowledgeable financial professional who can help you achieve your goals. My focus is on supporting people at every stage in preparing for and investing in their future.
From a personal standpoint, I am a 100% solo mom of two kids, one in high school and one in middle school. This also contributes to my passion for helping people, especially women, to help take control of their finances. Life throws unexpected curveballs and I have experienced firsthand how important it is to be prepared. When I am not working with my clients or being a mom, you will most likely find me on my yoga mat, reading a book or spending time with my loved ones.
I look forward to working in partnership with you to create a strategy for your financial future.
