John Lischer

John’s career in finance began as an advisor at large broker-dealers including Charles Schwab. Eventually he
transitioned into product management and portfolio analysis at Principal Financial Group and State Street Global
Advisors. Today, John serves as Assistant Vice President at Mariner Advisor Network where he is a Strategic Resource
for many advisors as part of the Portfolio Consulting team. In his role, John focuses on research, due diligence, and
portfolio optimization for clients.

John currently resides in Cameron Park, California. When he is not reading up on investments or foiling the
mischievous plans of his two cats, he enjoys going to the beach, weightlifting, and playing ice hockey.
